Flight School Supporters

The Debbie Franceus Memorial Aviation Foundation and Scholarship Program was founded in 2023 to award women the opportunity to advance themselves in their desire to pursue their dreams in aviation.

Open to all active female aviation students, across the United States, working toward their PPL or an advanced rating.
Must have a current FAA Medical Certificate or covered under Basic Med provisions.
Must be or become a current member of The Ninety-Nines, Inc., International Organization of Women Pilots.
Must have a financial need.

2026 scholarship applications will be available beginning April 1, 2026, via the website.
Applications must be submitted no later than June 1, 2026.
Last year, multiple $1000 - $3000 scholarships were awarded on Saturday July 12, 2025, during “Debbie Franceus Memorial Aviation Scholarship Week”.
Larger scholarship $ amounts may be awarded in 2026 based on 2026 Foundation financial strength. 2026 scholarship amounts will be announced April 1, 2026.
Currently, the 2026 Debbie Franceus Memorial Aviation Scholarship is open to all female applicants throughout the United States.
All funds donated will provide support of the Foundations aviation scholarships and administration of scholarships.
