Reni Emmerich

My name is Reni Emmerich, and I am a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying Aerospace Engineering while serving in Navy ROTC. I am originally from Madison, Wisconsin, where I began private pilot training during my senior year of high school.

Flying quickly became one of my greatest passions, and even as a passenger I've always been inspired by aviation. My long-term goals are to earn my instructor rating and also serve as a submariner in the Navy. The journey toward my private pilot license has not been easy - I have faced setbacks, including not passing my check ride twice last year, and coming up short of my goal this past summer when I intended to try again. But each experience has strengthened my resilience and determination to improve.

I plan to continue training during upcoming school breaks, with the mindset that persistence and growth matter just as much as the destination.
