Deeyana Parajuli

My name is Deeyana Parajuli.

I was born and raised in Nepal and moved to the U.S. at the age of 18, all alone, to pursue a career in aviation.

I have my SEL, MEL, AGI and IGI licenses and I'm currently waiting on my CFI check ride. I'm the mosaic of everyone who has supported and believed in me, and I'm grateful for all the trailblazers who came before me, paving the way for women like myself to chase our dreams.

As the firstborn daughter in a brown family, l've always expected a lot from myself. Choosing aviation wasn't the most typical path, and it initially stirred some concerns within my family. But with time, they've become my biggest supporters, standing behind me as I work toward my goals.

Recently, I opened my own ground school, Stellar Skies Aviation, with hopes of slowly turning it into a flight school in the coming years. My ultimate goal is to make it to the airlines while also growing my flight school to help others achieve their dreams of flying.
