Bailey Caldwell

Hi, I'm Bailey Caldwell, a private pilot passionate about all things aviation.

I especially love flying tailwheel, my all-time favorite plane being a Stearman, and spend most of my time in the air in a Taylorcraft. However, I love anything that flies and I am always excited to gain experience in any plane. Another plane I love and fly often is a Beech Debonair.

Flying has shaped my life in an incredible way and I have found that the aviation community is an outstanding group of people.

I am aspiring to become an aerial firefighter, so my next rating, my instrument, will be very important. I became inspired to do this work before I was a pilot, watching extreme fires all around me in Northern California. The tanker pilots were my heroes. I look forward to joining them after I get my ratings and build my experience!
