Alex Barringer

I am a dedicated and passionate aspiring professional pilot, currently completing my flight training with an expected graduation date as a Commercial Pilot in both single and multi-engine aircraft, and CFI/II in September. As a first-generation aviator, I bring a strong sense of determination, curiosity, and resilience to everything I do. My background spans a variety of professional experiences-each of which has strengthened my adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

My goal is to build a long and rewarding career in aviation, beginning with flight instruction to sharpen my skills and give back to the community that has supported my journey. While I'm still exploring exactly where my career in aviation will take me, I'm especially curious about opportunities in aerial firefighting and experiencing the challenge of flying a wide variety of aircraft, from seaplanes to high-performance specialty planes. No matter the path, I'm committed to continuous learning and building genuine connections with colleagues and students alike-knowing that each experience will shape the kind of pilot I become.
