Lacey Stensberg

My name is Lacey Stensberg and I love flying. I earned my Private Pilot Certificate in late September 2023. Currently, I am working towards my instrument rating, specifically studying for my written exam, which I hope to take this fall sometime.

I started flying last year and realized just how much I loved it. I have three busy teenagers, a 16 yo daughter, a 15 yo daughter, and a 14 yo son and I work full time at a school in Marquette, MI. I like to run, hike with my family, a little bit of mountain biking, and be by Lake Superior. With all of the busy-ness of life, flying provides an opportunity to slow down, and really do something that brings me joy. Sharing it with my family is one of my favorite things. As my children approach college and the house quiets down, my goal is to work in the aviation field.

I always knew I liked aviation, but it has been amazing to discover my confidence to explore being a pilot and just how large my passion is for being in the air.
